Wherein I demonstrate I can go places
I've spent more time out of town in the last month or so than I generally like to be. I've been to Durham, to Raleigh (which are indeed two very different cities, regardless of what most people seem to think), home to Mom and Dad's, to see Lee's mom and dad, and Lee is going out of town next week. And of course next weekend is one sister's graduation. The weekend after that we were supposed to go to the other's, but as she could possibly be giving birth at any moment, she's not planning to walk at graduation. This is certainly a good thing. We'll go down there once my niece (as it currently looks) is born. Lee can't wait.

It's not even the driving that really bothers me, although I will freely admit I prefer driving the truck (okay, it's an SUV) over the car. This has quite a bit to do with the fact that the truck has cruise control and the car does not. And the car's right front speaker seems to have died. And the truck has lovely leather seats. But the car gets better gas mileage. And aside from the speaker, the sound system is better. And the car is "mine" while the truck is "Lee's." Okay, so once again I can't make up my mind.

It's not like all of these trips have had a theme, either. I went to see Lee's folks because we hadn't been up there in a while. I went to Durham to see my favorite TV personality (Alton Brown, don'tcha know). I went to Raleigh to raise money for the sick babies. I went to Mom and Dad's to co-host a baby shower. This weekend I'm planning to sit and stitch and watch TV. And maybe do a little reading.
